Plastic water bottles are also another source of pollution, and as much as we recommend you to stay well-hydrated during your excursions, you should minimize the waste created by plastic bottles and refill it instead. Many hotels and lodges offer a refill for free.

You will find out that in some areas, people don’t really look after pollution issues, and littering is pretty common. It is not really a matter of not caring about it, but mostly of environmental awareness. So acting responsibly about it could set an example for those local communities and on a general scale as well. You will feel good about yourself and about the positive impact you create.
